Baking my Grandma's Recipe

I painted the countertop midway through baking. I captured my mom's mixing bowl, the Pyrex measuring glass, the black pan waiting, and the butter half sliced on the board with the knife still there. I used a blend of colors to create an abstract feel of the tiles. Here I was baking my grandma's apple cake recipe, and I wanted to show the baking process and ingredients she used to create my favorite dessert.
