Tell me about the place or memory that is important to you and I'll make you a painting of it. Starting at $400.
Most of my commissions are gifts. Someone comes to me with the spot where they got engaged, or the venue where their daughter is getting married, or the porch of the house their family grew up in. They share photographs of places important to them or iPhone photos that they want me to bring to life. My commissions are often landscape pieces but also house portraits and still lifes.
Every commission gets my full attention. I work from your photographs and your story, I take the time the piece needs, and I do not consider it finished until it feels right to me and to you. You are trusting me with something that matters to someone you love, and I treat it that way!
What it costs
Price is mostly determined by canvas size. These are starting prices; the final quote depends on the subject, the level of detail, and the timeline.

Larger sizes are very welcome. Tell me what you have in mind and I will quote it for you.
How it works
- You send me the form, with photographs or anything else that inspired you. There's no obligation or cost.
- We talk it through. We agree on the subject and the size, and I confirm the price.
- You pay a 50% deposit and I begin. The balance is due when the piece is finished.
- I send you photo updates each week as I develop the painting so nothing about the final piece is a surprise.
- I pack it carefully and mail it to you so it's ready to give as a gift.
If it is for a wedding, a birthday, or any fixed date, tell me the date early so I have the time to paint so I'm not rushing your gift.

I read every inquiry myself and I reply usually within a couple of days, with what is possible, what it would cost, and how long it would take.
