FAQs

Originals and prints

What is the difference between an original and a print?

An original is the actual painting or drawing I made, one of a kind, signed on the front. A print is a reproduction of that painting, printed to order and signed by me. Once an original sells it is gone, but the print usually stays available.

Are the prints signed?

Yes. I sign every print by hand before it ships.

What are the prints printed on?

High quality giclée prints, made with archival inks on archival grade, acid free, thick, textured paper. The texture is deliberate, it holds the brushwork better than smooth paper does.

Do prints come framed?

No. Prints ship unframed and borderless so you can frame them the way you want. All print sizes are listed in inches.

Shipping

How long until my order ships?

Orders ship within 5 business days. Prints are made to order rather than in bulk, which is why they are not sent the same day, and it means nothing is overproduced.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. For international orders, the buyer is responsible for any additional taxes, tariffs, and customs fees on import.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on all art.

Returns

What is your return policy?

You have 14 days from delivery to return for a full refund, minus shipping. Between 14 and 30 days you will receive store credit. No returns after 30 days, and no international returns.

Commissions

Do you take commissions?

Yes. I paint portraits from photographs, house portraits, and engagement or wedding moments. Get in touch through the contact page with what you have in mind and I will tell you what is possible and what it would cost.

The Funky Post

What is The Funky Post?

My monthly art print club. It is $8 a month, and members receive a mini print of the piece I painted that month along with a letter about what pulled me to it. You can pause or cancel any time.

Seeing the work in person

Where can I see your art in person?

My prints and originals are carried by boutiques in New York, San Francisco, and Copenhagen, and I show at art fairs through the year. I am also currently painting in residence at Time to Be Happy Gallery in Nolita.
